Splash Island
Splash Island is an outdoor pool operated by Tullahoma Parks and Recreation. Originally an Olympic sized pool built in the late 1970s, Splash Island reopened in June of 2015 after undergoing a complete renovation. The new multi-use pool includes a splash pad, three 25 foot tall water slides, and a 300 foot lazy river. The concession stand offers plenty of poolside treats as well as healthy and fresh options.

A Note About Unscheduled Pool Closures
Here at Splash Island, the safety of our swimmers is the number one priority. Occasions will arise where certain weather conditions will require us to close the pool. For example, according to the World Health Organization, water temperatures ranging from 78 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit are generally comfortable and safe for those engaging in moderate physical activity in a pool.
However, health concerns may come in to play with higher or lower water temperatures. We use the rule of 150: Air temperature plus water temperature equals 150. Water temperatures below 70 degrees can lead to increased heart rate and blood pressure, and also hypothermia. The W.H.O. recommends that swimmers approach extreme water temperatures, in both pool and open water, with caution.
We will do our best to notify our patrons at least one hour before scheduled opening times to announce closures. Please check for the most up-to-date information by visiting the City of Tullahoma website and our official Facebook pages: Splash Island Tullahoma and Tullahoma Parks and Recreation.
